While participants may experience insight, emotional release, or personal shifts, HYPNOTIC is not designed as a space for therapy, trauma processing, or psychological treatment.

The focus of this retreat is hypnotic BDSM, ritualized play, perception, and embodied exploration. The work centers on power dynamics, trance, presence, and consensual erotic interaction, not on fixing, diagnosing, or healing participants.

Each person is expected to arrive with personal responsibility, emotional self awareness, and the capacity to care for themselves within intense or altered states. Supportive facilitation is present, but it does not replace professional therapeutic care.

If you are currently seeking healing, recovery, or clinical support, this retreat may not be the appropriate environment. HYPNOTIC is an exploration of experience and agency, not a therapeutic container.

Sexual and erotic expression may arise naturally within play, ritual, or consensual interaction. All expressions are welcome only when they are grounded in clarity, respect, and explicit consent.

The focus of this retreat is not sexual performance or explicit activity, but perception, trance, power dynamics, and embodied presence. Sexuality is approached as one possible language among others, not as a requirement or expectation.

Participants choose their own level of engagement. Observation, non sexual play, and non participatory presence are equally valid within the container.

Nothing is imposed. Everything is opt in. Consent, boundaries, and responsibility remain central at all times.

The retreat is intentionally kept small and intimate—typically between 17 to 20 participants, plus a few experienced assistants and facilitators.

By registering for a retreat facilitated by David Marius Boulet and Maia Boulet-Loiseau (Katarsis), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Enrollment & Payment

Your place at the retreat is confirmed once full payment is received or once a payment plan has been activated and the first installment paid.
All payment plans must be completed no later than 60 days before the retreat start date.
Spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Failure to complete payments by the agreed deadline may result in the release of your spot without refund.

2. Cancellations by Participant

• Cancellations made more than 90 days before the retreat start date are eligible for a 50% refund, or the paid amount may be transferred once to another retreat or training within 12 months.
• Cancellations made between 60 and 90 days before the retreat start date are eligible for a 25% refund.
• Cancellations made less than 60 days before the retreat start date are non refundable, as venue and logistical commitments will have been finalized.

Refunds are calculated based on the total retreat price, not on individual payment installments.

3. Transfers

You may transfer your booking to another approved participant up to 30 days before the retreat start date at no additional cost.
Transfers to future retreats or trainings may be offered at the sole discretion of the organizer and only in exceptional circumstances.

4. Cancellations or Changes by Organizer

In the event that the retreat is postponed or canceled by the organizer, participants will be offered either a full refund or a credit transfer toward a future retreat or training.

The organizer is not responsible for any personal expenses incurred, including but not limited to flights, visas, accommodation outside the retreat, insurance, or travel related costs.

5. Participation & Personal Responsibility

All retreats are educational and experiential, not therapeutic.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your physical, emotional, and psychological well being before, during, and after the retreat.

By attending, you agree to respect the retreat’s principles of consent, confidentiality, personal responsibility, and mutual respect.

The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe, unethical, or disruptive to the group or the integrity of the container, without refund.

6. Refund Exceptions

Refunds are not guaranteed for cancellations due to illness, injury, travel disruption, or personal emergencies.
In certain cases, a credit transfer may be offered at the organizer’s discretion, but this is not guaranteed.

7. Intellectual Property & Recording

All teachings, exercises, recordings, written materials, and experiential frameworks shared during the retreat remain the intellectual property of David Marius.

Recording, reproducing, teaching, distributing, or sharing any retreat content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

Recording of sessions is not permitted unless explicitly authorized by the organizer.

8. Agreement

By registering for the retreat, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to participate with integrity, accountability, and respect toward yourself, other participants, and the facilitators.
